Mixing & Mastering Services
What is Mixing?
Mixing is the process of blending all the individual elements of a song—vocals, drums, instruments, effects—into a cohesive, dynamic, and emotionally impactful experience. Think of it like crafting a recipe: the drums lay the foundation, the bass adds body, vocals bring the flavor, and effects are the finishing touch. It’s not just about levels—it’s about space, energy, and feel.
How Long Does Mixing Take?
Mixing can take anywhere from a few hours to a few days, depending on the complexity of the track and the artist’s vision. A simple, well-recorded session may take 2–4 hours, while a full production with dense arrangements and special effects can take 8–12 hours or more. We take the time to ensure every element shines while serving the song as a whole.
How Do I Send a Mix?
Export your tracks as individual stems. Each DAW handles this differently, so refer to a guide if needed.
-

-
Keep stems clean and clearly labeled
-
We provide a Dropbox link for easy file transfer
What is Mastering?
Mastering is the final step before release. It brings consistency, clarity, and loudness to your track while making sure it translates across all platforms—whether it's Spotify, Apple Music, radio, or vinyl. Originally used to unify albums, mastering now also ensures your music meets modern loudness standards without distortion or loss of quality.
How Long Does Mastering Take?
Mastering typically takes about one hour per track, but this can vary based on mix quality. We offer stem mastering in situations where the stereo mix doesn’t allow the track to reach its full potential. All masters are run through our high-end analog chain and bounced in real time for optimal sonic character.
How Do I Prepare a Track for Mastering?
To get the best possible result:
-
Leave -6 dB of true peak headroom
-
Bypass plugins on the master bus (limiters, EQs, compressors)
-
Export your file as a 32-bit WAV
Once received, we take care of the rest—elevating your song to release-ready quality.
